What is the difference between a Fuse Handcart,Ground Handcart, Isolated Handcart?

1. Fuse Handcart

Function: integrated high-voltage fuses (such as current-limiting fuses) for short-circuit or overload protection, usually used in conjunction with load switches.

Application: commonly used in ring main units or medium-voltage switchgear to protect transformers, capacitors and other equipment.

Features:

The fuse can quickly cut off the fault current.

The power supply needs to be restored after the fuse is manually replaced.

2. Ground Handcart

Function: Ground the circuit to ensure the safety of personnel during maintenance and prevent residual charge or misoperation.

Application: Used to ground busbars, cables and other equipment during maintenance or power outages.

Features:

With grounding switch, directly connected to the ground grid.

Usually used in conjunction with an isolation handcart (isolate first and then ground).

3. Isolated Handcart

Function: Physically isolate the circuit, forming a visible break, but does not have arc extinguishing ability (cannot be operated under load).

Application: Isolate the power supply during maintenance to ensure that the equipment is completely powered off.

Features:

No arc extinguishing device, must be operated when there is no current.

Often used in conjunction with a circuit breaker (e.g. after the circuit breaker is opened, the isolation cart is pulled out).

The fuse trolley and the isolation trolley may be used in combination (e.g., isolation first, then fuse).

The grounding trolley must be operated after confirming that the line is powerless, otherwise it may cause an accident.
